For two decades, we’ve teamed up with Ocean Conservancy and its International Coastal Cleanup® to help make our waterways healthier and more sustainable. We are raising awareness of the role a healthy ocean has in environmental sustainability through educational opportunities for our employees and local markets to help protect the planet and ocean we all depend on.

Empower your employees to make a difference by taking part in a cleanup through the International Coastal Cleanup®—an inspiring way to foster team spirit while protecting our ocean.
American Express and Ocean Conservancy have been working together on beach cleanup events since 2018 as part of the company’s Green2Gether program.
Since then, American Express has expanded our relationship to help scale the International Coastal Cleanup® and Urban Ocean® programs—two programs that partner with local groups in cities and coastal communities around the world to help prevent the flow of trash and plastic pollution into the ocean, promote resilience and protect ecosystems. In addition, the grant will be used to build an active network of volunteers, including American Express colleagues around the world.

Stanley has set goals to increase recycled stainless steel, eliminate plastic packaging and reduce greenhouse gas emissions in the supply chain. Committed to protecting the ocean for future generations to enjoy, Stanley supports the International Coastal Cleanup® and engages employees in five countries in regular efforts to remove trash from local beaches and waterways.
